  0A true dive, in a good way. It is a very basic grocery store, but they serve BBQ that is cooked in the back yard and a very old smoker.
  Very friendly people, the BBQ was OK. The brisket was dry and overcooked, the ribs were just OK, and the sausages were good.

  This weekend, I went to Davis Grocery and BBQ for the first time. I am from Austin but I visit Taylor on occasion. The last time I went, I went to the big popular barbecue place and melted. It was so freaking hot in there and the line was so long that I was very miserable by the time I left. Davis has great sausage and their potato salad is good too! Their pinto beans tasted like they came from a can, but their BBQ sauce and their pork ribs are to die for! They also have air-conditioned indoor seating. And the atmosphere is very small town, warm, loving and welcoming. I will definitely be back!

  Very good bbq. I'm typically not into sausage but they have a very good sausage. Great place just a tad pricey
